How it all began
My journey to Prerana began with my work at another NGO. There, I was confronted with the immense poverty in my neighbourhood and homeland. I realised how little value women often have in India. These insights touched me deeply and inspired me to take action myself. I wanted to make a direct contribution to positively changing the lives of these children.
Our unique approach
What sets Prerana apart from other aid projects is my personal and direct approach. I travel from place to place myself, know the background and understand exactly what the people in my community need. This proximity enables us to provide targeted and effective help that really makes a difference and brings about lasting change.
